At the suggestion of a colleague, we took on World Vision Global 6k part, a charity run over six kilometers for the benefit of children in Africa. Dr. Stender was extremely generous and donated the entry fee for all runners.
In bright sunshine, 26 colleagues completed the pre-determined route through the beautiful Wangenhe led the landscape. One or the other natural obstacle was mastered brilliantly.
To round off the day and to replenish the reserves after the exertion, Dr. Stender afterwards for a little barbecue.
